Mizuha

Totoblue — a sacred blue cosmos that continues eternally, 
shifting with the changing light.

The harmonies created through pointillism and tarashikomi 
seem to resonate with the viewer’s heart, 
constantly trembling and flowing in quiet motion.

“Mizuha” is a work born from the wish 
to exist together with the spirit of water.

The sparkling energy of rippling waves reflects 
Choemon Senda’s philosophy that karakami is created together 
with the countless deities and spirits of nature.

Within this sacred blue silence 
is embedded a message:

that the sacred tortoise, a divine messenger destined one day to become a dragon, 
carries the prayers of people into the heavens, 
transforms into a dragon, fulfills those wishes, 
and watches over the peace of the world.
