The deer is a symbol that guides people toward hope. Eurasian mythology tells of a prince who encountered a deer in the forest and was blessed with the good fortune to establish a new kingdom. Shedding its antlers in the autumn and growing new ones in the spring, the deer has been revered as a spirit that promises revival. The pattern shows a symbolic deer in the style of stained glass with the natural scenery of Saga, including Mt. Ogura, a bamboo thicket, the sun, and the moon.
